Congratulations to Mahopac High School senior Ezra Bromberg (clarinet) and junior Cooper Grimm (tuba) for being selected to perform with the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Conference All-State Wind Ensemble this December in Rochester, New York.
Bromberg and Grimm earned this prestigious honor through rigorous auditions at NYSSMA solo and ensemble festivals last spring, where thousands of students from across New York State competed for a limited number of spots. Their selection is a testament to their outstanding talent, dedication and musicianship.
“This is one of the highest achievements a high school musician in New York can earn,” MCSD K-12 Music Department Chair Heather Palkewick said. “We are proud of Ezra and Cooper for their hard work and commitment, and that they will represent Mahopac on the state stage.”
The district extends gratitude to Rich Williams, Mahopac’s dedicated music educator, for his guidance and support helping these students reach this level of excellence.
