The students participated in a wide variety of activities, from hands-on crafts and yoga to physical education games, basketball and Four Square. The Mahopac Central School District, together with our Board of Education, mourns the passing of Putnam County Sheriff Kevin McConville. Sheriff McConville was a valued partner in our district safety initiatives, most recently presenting at our 2025 District Safety Symposium on threat assessment protocols. We are deeply grateful for his commitment to keeping our students and schools safe, and we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, colleagues, and the entire Putnam County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff McConville's passing is a great loss to our county, but his legacy of service and dedication will be remembered here in Mahopac and throughout Putnam County.
