Jonathan Schneider, Trustee

Trustee Jonathan Schneider is a lifelong resident of Mahopac and a MHS graduate. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Buffalo and has also served in the United States Marine Corps.
Trustee Schnedier continues to volunteer with numerous organizations throughout the community. He has served as District Treasurer for Vista Fire District where he handled their multimillion-dollar renovation and upgrades. He has served eight years on the Town Board for the Town of Carmel where he worked diligently to improve the fairness and equity of our real estate tax system.
Trustee Schneider has completed many capital projects from conception to funding. He brings an extensive background in government operations and financial understanding to benefit the residents, students, faculty and facilities.
Trustee Schneider develops informed decisions for the community by gathering information from all stakeholders. He believes in government transparency and accountability at all times and he is proud to represent our Mahopac community.
